A nail-biting video went viral on the Chinese internet earlier this week showing a toddler taking his toy car out for a joy ride on a very real road.

The surveillance footage shows the boy, aged around 3, pushing his vehicle up a street, going against rush hour traffic at around 8 a.m. in the city of Lishui in Zhejiang province. Cars, scooters and motorbikes swerve and weave around the kid, but none of the motorists actually stop to help.
